Winter Wear Finland shall hold a Deposit on the Customer's credit card until the rented items are returned. The Deposit shall be released / refunded back to the Customer's use upon return of undamaged items. In case of broken or lost items, please see the below terms for Returning rental items.
The amount of Deposit depends on the value of rented items and is calculated automatically.
Please note, the Customer is responsible for choosing the appropriate size. We recommend going one size up if you're feeling unsure, as winter wear can and should be a bit loose. You can always contact us for assistance at email@example.com.
Returning rental items:
Rental items must be returned in good condition. If repairs are needed, we charge a repair fee from the Deposit. Repair fees range between 5€ and 30€, depending on the degree of the damage.
If an item is lost, stolen, or damaged/stained beyond repair, full amount of Deposit shall be charged, as well as the balance between the retail value of lost/damaged/stained rental items and the Deposit.
Changes and cancellations:
All changes and cancellations must be made through our customer service email: firstname.lastname@example.org, or, in case you have booked your rental items through a travel agent, please contact the point of sale.
Cancellation fees are calculated as follows:
- 7 days or more before arrival date: 25% of the original fee
- 3-6 days before arrival date: 50%
- 2 days or less before arrival date: 100%
Please note: Full value of the original rental fee will be charged in case the items are not picked up, as well as an additional fee of extra storage days (6€/day) at the pick-up location. In cases of partial orders left behind and/or partial early returns to the pick-up location, an additional pick-up fee of 20€ per additional pick-up applies. Please always keep us informed of any changes to reduce extra costs.
The right to return purchased items:
You have the right to return a purchased item within 14 days of receiving it, under the following conditions: The item is to be unused and packed in its original packaging. The Customer is responsible for informing Winter Wear Finland about the return by email at email@example.com. The returned item is to be left in a storage locker at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, Terminal 2. The customer shall be responsible to pay the locker fee (5-6€) and inform Winter Wear Finland of the locker code. The Customer must also make sure s/he has informed Winter Wear Finland about the drop-off time in advance, or the latest within 4 hours of placing the item in the locker.
Refunds that arise from cancellations, order changes or returns of purchased items, are usually paid back to you using the same method you have used for your order.
We may have to cancel your order if the products are not available for any reason. In this case, you will be notified within 24 hours of placing your order, and the refund shall be paid back to you immediately.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. All amendments to these terms and conditions will be posted online.
Please note we ship for free only to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Shipments to other locations are available in the capital area in Finland (Helsinki, Vantaa or Espoo), and the shipping costs are to be added on your order by clicking the appropriate fee on the order form.
